“Stress isn’t something you delete — it’s what you do with it.”

A couple of years ago, the first hour of my workday could wreck me. My work needs total focus, one slip and it costs real money, like flying a fighter jet with two bandits on your tail. And that’s exactly when someone at home would call. Once. Twice. Three times. I’d feel it climb up my chest, lose the thread, and make the mistake that costs.

I tried the obvious fix: “please don’t call me the first hour.” Didn’t work. Next day, three calls. What I finally learned was that I couldn’t control the calls. I could only control what they did to me. The phone still rings. I still feel the flash of “not now.” But it doesn’t hijack me anymore. I hold my focus, and the annoyance passes through instead of taking over. Same pressure. Completely different me.

You might not have my job. But you know your own version, the moment you’re already stretched thin and the world picks exactly then to pull at you, and you feel yourself lose it. That’s what this is about. Not making stress vanish. Learning to stop getting hijacked by it.

You don’t need a course or an app or an hour. You need three minutes and something that actually works when your chest is tight and your mind is loud. That’s exactly what this is.
